Picturing Your Pet

Did you know that ByJRochelle captures pets?!? Pets fill important positions in families today so why not show the world your love by decorating your spaces pictures of your pets!

Not ready to pay for a pet session yet? Well our ByJRochelle photographers graciously compiled a list of tips on photographing pets! Pets, unlike humans, do not always understand pose requests and the beauty that you see may elude  the camera!

You know your pet better than anyone so try to capture him/her in his/her natural environment doing what comes naturally! Capture your lazy pet yawning, capture your playful pet pouncing, capture your daring pet leaping tall couches in a single bound! most importantly focus on the eyes; eyes can tell a story. Use natural light and keep the eyes sharp. A flash burst can cause red-eye and frighten the animal. The fear will paint an inaccurate picture of your pet and take away from his/her natural character. Be sure to capture your pet's details. Get up close and personal to highlight the texture of the fur or the nuances in color of the nose. Let your pet play quietly and capture those moments. If you use these tips you'll capture a little magic every time.

Lindley Wedding

When it comes to wedding photography, we want to convey an emotion within your wedding day by capturing the story and atmosphere from the day. We want to translate your message of love across for  generations to come who will appreciate what the wedding was like, rather than peruse a series of pre-determined poses.

On the big day, we keep a low profile because you are the star; our clients peruse their images surprised by the moments that we capture. One bride remarked, "[we] truly love our wedding book! It was a very hard task to caputure all the love surrounding our big day but ByJRochelle did a fantastic job of it! "

ByJRochelle combines candid images of the day's events...

....with posed images that are inspired by the personalities of the couple.

We make 3 standard packages available to Brides & Grooms: Essential, Acclaimed, & Captured! Until your big day, be sure to visit the ByJRochelle website and Facebook page to stay connected!

Up a Tree Without a Camera

Have you ever found yourself up a tree, wishing  a friend was there with you to snap a picture? Ummm maybe that's just me, TheJRochelle of ByJRochelle. ByJRochelle clients brave the elements to get the right shot and I think they have as much fun as I do...well I hope they do!

As a child I climbed trees with my cousins and I guess that started my arbor height obsessions. If you are a tree-hugger like me, schedule your ByJRochelle session up a tree and never be caught without a camera again!

Recently I had the pleasure of shooting a local English teacher [with camera]. It took him a couple of tries, but like Miley Cyrus sang, it "ain't about how fast I get there...it's the climb". Mr. Busby would promptly correct Miley's English of course, but either way he loads of fun and a natural.

The Goddess of Theatre

These characters are preparing for the role of their lifetime as they get ready to welcome a new leading lady! Bubbling with excitement the Jenkins toured a Houston area park holding hands, sharing love, and taking in the sights of the summer scene.

With enough sun to kiss her curves without baking her skin, Jessica  wore a lovely teal baby doll dress; light enough to hug that beautiful bump but thin enough to keep her cool as we strolled through the park,

Their natural tresses and winning smiles were only trumped by their awesome personalities. Their baby girl will be one lucky kid.

What's In A Name

What’s In a Name?
Jeanicia Rochelle Elder’s business gained its inception in 1997 when she declared her love for all things media. Since then she has moonlighted for several companies including: Acadiana Open Channel, The Bridge Ministry of Acadiana, and several Houston area churches. Only this year did she did she take the plunge to enter the business world.
ByJRochelle is a multi-media creation company specializing in graphics, video production [for web, television, and mass presentation]. ByJRochelle uses creativity to get your message across while remaining sensitive to the image of your company. You can visit our temporary website to view work samples. Before I introduce you the work, let me answer a question fan, Derix Dugan: Why ByJRochelle?

9 years ago when I met the man who I eventually married you always found me creating something. At the time we met, it was clothes. My grandmother taught me to sew; I eventually acquired a sewing machine with which I would make gifts for friends and family. Gregory randomly suggested that I create my own line of clothing called, yep you guessed it, J Rochelle. When Gregory and I rekindled our friendship, he began to encourage me to harness my talents. Although people continually told me all along that I did excellent work and recommended me to other people, I never thought that I could be a business. Gregory motivated me to not wait for someone to hire me, and hire myself. It reminded me of “J Rochelle”. As our relationship grew I started to seek alternate outlets for my creative talents and created an online portfolio, aptly titled JRochelle Media Productions.
A few months ago, I created a Facebook page to generate fans and create a temporary place to display my work. Once you get so many fans, you have the option of creating an official name. With the help of my husband I started to brainstorm possible ideas. He thought the title of my temporary portfolio , “J. Rochelle Media Productions” and even the title of my photography division, “Captured By J. Rochelle” were too long. I wanted to pick a name that communicated the vastness of my work. Finally, Gregory said, “ByJRochelle”! It was perfect. I like the idea that the name does not limit my business, because when you see “ByJRochelle” you never know exactly what it will be: a video, graphics, pictures, a resume. The possibilities are endless.
I am anxious to begin this leg of my journey and I hope that I get a chance to help you get your message across. Please visit my facebook page and my temporary portfolio. Don’t forget to click like and let me know you stopped by.
